Created in 1991 by Gerald Armin, Fairbank Productions has to date produced the European Premiers of Lipstick Dreams (Greenwich Studio Theatre, Shaw Theatre London). World Premier of Burning Blue, (Kings Head Theatre, Theatre Royal Haymarket London) winning two Olivier Awards. No 1 National UK tour of Leader of The Pack – The Ellie Greenwich Musical. The USA and Irish Premier of Tom Crean – Antarctic Explorer (The New York International Fringe Festival ‘03, Dublin Fringe Festival ’03). Sunset Bitch (New York International Fringe Festival ’05). European premier of Danny and Sylvia (Jermyn Street Theatre London). Fairbank Productions has been the lead producer of Tom Crean - Antarctic Explorer for the past six years which has seen the show successfully tour throughout Ireland and the USA, and receive its UK Premier at the 2006 Edinburgh Fringe Festival where it won a Fringe First Award. 2007 saw the production received its Australian premier at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, via seasons in Florida, Malta, Geneva and Dubai and played an extended eight week sell-out season at the The Irish Repertory Theatre New York before embarking on its first UK tour. Last year the show play its first London season at the New End Theatre and returned to Ireland for sell-out weeks in both Dublin and Cork.  Future new productions include opening a new off West End Theatre: Waterloo East Theatre in September 2010  www.fairbankproductions.co.uk

Play on Words Theatre was formed in 1990 by a group of actors with the objective of making Shakespeare accessible to young people all over the UK. The company has grown over the last fifteen years to include productions of Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth amongst numerous workshops performances on many of Shakespeare’s other plays. Following various collaborations with national museums in the UK Play on Words Theatre has diversified to incorporate performances on science and history areas for schools. It has Tudor, Victorian and WW2 shows for primary school students. It also runs drama summer schools in the Channel Islands and Youth Theatre groups in its local area of Rochester and Maidstone in England. www.playonwordstheatre.com
